About

Hi, I’m Jesse — a mom, culinary school graduate, registered dental hygienist, and the person behind Jesse Gallo Co.

I didn’t learn to cook in a traditional way. I started cooking when I was 12 years old, standing in my kitchen watching the Food Network and figuring things out as I went. Both of my parents worked two jobs, and there wasn’t always time for home-cooked meals, so I stepped in. What started as necessity quickly became something I loved.

I learned by watching, trying, adjusting, and making plenty of mistakes along the way. In 2014, I took that passion further and went to culinary school, where I learned the technical side of cooking—how to build flavor, cook with intention, and approach food with confidence.

But the biggest transformation in how I cook happened at home.

Today, cooking is about feeding the people I love. My roots are in Punjabi cooking, full of warmth, spice, and comfort. Italian food became part of our home through my husband—simple, rich meals meant to be shared. And in between are the everyday family dinners that make up real life.

Becoming a mom changed the way I think about food again. I wanted my child to grow up eating the same foods we eat as a family, prepared in ways that are safe and appropriate for each stage. That became part of the inspiration behind Jesse Gallo Co.

Here, I share flavorful family recipes, practical baby-feeding ideas, and dental-care guidance informed by my experience as a registered dental hygienist.

This isn’t restaurant cooking. It’s real food for real family life.

From our kitchen to yours, I hope something you find here becomes part of your table too.  ♥
